FAQ

What will happen in the case of an accident on camp?

We have a clear and robust First Aid Policy in place. Each venue has at least one dedicated advanced Paediatric First Aider who can assess and respond with First Aid to promote your child’s safety and welfare. In the event of a more serious accident, parents / guardians will be contacted immediately. Paperwork will be completed, and a report of the incident kept in our First Aid log.

All the activities we deliver are risk assessed and delivered by qualified and experienced coaches.

What activities do you offer?

We offer a wide range of activities, games and competitions. The day is divided into two team games, a competitive game, free time and these are structured around breaks and lunch time.

The summer days are hot and long, will my child get too tired?

We always monitor and supervise children closely and ensure the following:

  1. All children have sun cream applied and wear a sun hat.
  2. Regular breaks are in place to ensure children come out of the sun, re-hydrate and take advantage of the fresh fruit we provide.
  3. Listen to children's concerns about headaches and feeling unwell.

We also have chill out zones where children can play quietly with their friends, tonnes of face paints and less intense activities on offer. Children always leave tired after a fun day but are bouncing wanting to come back! Trust us.

What does my child need to bring to Peak Performance Sports course?

Children are required to bring:

  1. Suitable clothing and footwear
  2. A healthy Packed Lunch, snack for afternoon break and a water bottle.
  3. Sun cream (to be applied before arrival) and a sun hat.

What if my child isn’t very sporty?

They're in good hands!

Our team are experts at nurturing and encouraging children to feel part of the right team and to join in the games and activities. We understand it can be daunting to come into a new environment with a lot of new faces so we get to know the group so we can ensure they get the most out of their time with us. We also use our Junior Leaders to help with new children get settled into our camp.

The emphasis at our Holiday Camps is on having fun, meeting new friends and trying something new. Although we host games that are very competitive for those children who wish to play them, most activities our set out for fun.

Parents are more than welcome to come in and talk to the team or contact us in advance of your booking to discuss any questions.

When do your Holiday Camps open?

Peak Performance Sports delivers action packed Holiday Camps through the School Holidays.  We open week days between 08:30 - 16:00.

Who will my child be grouped with?

Children are grouped by age and ability. If your child is coming with a friend they will most likely be able to be with their friend throughout the whole day. Please speak to a member of staff if you have any group requests or drop a request at the time of booking.
